If you are looking for a true adventure in the jungle this is your best option where you will get to know the Amazonian flora and fauna and you will have the opportunity to have contact with nature. You will also see a variety of species of monkeys, turtles, frogs, alligators, tarántulas, river dolphins gray and pink and other species. You will also know medicinal plants still unknown to science.
Itenerary
Day 1
- Pick up from hotel or airport.
- We will take a private transport (1:30 aproxx.) to go the city of Nauta.
- We leave from Nauta port by typical boat to navigate approx. 3 hours throught the Marañon,Amazon, Ucayali and Yarapa rivers(our lodge is locales on the Yarapa river).
- In the navigation we will observe river birds, dolphins and amazonian villages.
- Lunch time.(Auto-service).
- Swimming in the Yarapa river or Amazon river.(Optional,coordiner with the guide).
- Sunset from 5:45 pm to 6:15 pm.
- Dinner time.(auto-service).
- Night walks in search of nocturnal monkeys, señales,tarántulas, frogs and others especies.
Day 2
- We wake up very early at 5:45 am to go in our boat excursion to see sunrise sightings.
- After, we going to in the same boat to observe a variety of species of birds,sloths, medecinal plants and others.
- Breakfast time.
- Walks in search of a variety of Giant trees.
- Lunch time.
- Cumaceba river exploration.
- Night Caiman search.
- Dinner time.
Day 3
- Breakfast time.
- Fishing for piranhas,sabalos and others.
- Observation of acuatic planta "Victoria Regia"(Lily Pads).
- Lunch time.
- Retorn to the city of Iquitos.
